About Us

Dawn Wright has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist in British Columbia for 18 years, since 1991.

Initially, she practiced 2 years in a remote heli-skiing lodge dealing primarily with acute injuries while also keeping vacation warriors in shape to go powder skiing the next day. This work helped her to see just what abuse we put our bodies through and expect them to rebound miraculously. To her great pleasure she found massage, along with conducting morning stretch classes followed with taping knees and whatever else needed to be put back together, did a remarkable job of keeping both fit and non-fit people out on the ski hills!

She eventually nestled into a practice in Squamish for twelve years with two other wonderful Registered Massage Therapists. They had a clinic that ranged from working with acute to chronic injuries as well as people that came on a regular basis for prevention tune-ups.

As a Registered Massage Therapist in British Columbia we must take ongoing courses in order to maintain our license to practice. Over the past 18 years she has taken endless courses that have helped her to create a massage technique that caters to the type of body that she is treating. No two people are in need of the same type of treatment which makes adaptation to tissue types a key component to becoming a good massage therapist. Whether for relaxation or rehabilitation she enjoys seeing her clients leave the clinic feeling much better than when they walk in.
